My favorite movie of all time is “Dead Poets Society.” Robin Williams is a great actor and did a wonderful job as usual. However, for me this movie was more than just entertaining. After watching it, I took away several life lessons.
- Live your life, not someone else’s life or the life that someone else wants you to live.
- Take a look around and try to view things from a different perspective.
- Conformity isn’t always a good thing.
- Don’t try to force others to live the way you want them to live. You will just make everyone miserable.
I can’t tell you how many times I have seen this movie. In a small way it did change my life. I do tend to view things from a different perspective and I am determined to live my life the way I want to even if it seems different or strange to others.
Having known you all of your life, I met you when you were 1 week old, I do not see anything at all strange or different about the life you live. But then again, maybe I am strange and different in a way that is similar to you.
We do have a lot in common
